Closures

Closing for a holiday or facility maintenance? A closure suppresses every regular class org-wide for a date range in one action — no need to override each class individually.

Adding a closure

From Closures, add a start and end date, an optional reason ("Closed for winter break"), and — if it's only a partial-day closure — a start and end time. Leave the time blank for an all-day closure.

What parents see

Affected classes still show on subscribed parents' calendars, but labeled "Closed" instead of disappearing — so nobody wonders if the class was simply deleted. Every affected family also gets one notification per closure, regardless of how many classes or days it spans.
